HSAP Math Question of the Week

Example: 2X + 3 = 7
Steps to solve the problem.
1. subtract 3 from each side
2. divide each side by two
3. X = 2


Solve 3X - 11 = 10
1. List the two steps you would need to do in order to solve for X.
2. What is the value of X?
